Initial Assessment

A structured 60-minute assessment focused on understanding your current mental health challenges, personal history, and the factors contributing to your present difficulties. Together, we will develop an initial formulation of what may be maintaining these patterns and consider recommendations for the next steps based on what best aligns with your current needs.

Individual Therapy

I offer individual talking therapy on an open-ended or structured basis, depending on your needs, goals, and the most appropriate therapeutic plan for your circumstances. Sessions provide a private space to explore challenges, build understanding, and work towards meaningful change in a way that is collaborative, reflective, and tailored to you. Available online or in person.

Practice Details

If you are seeking to work with me, my private practice currently runs on Tuesdays, with appointments available between 9:00am-5:00pm.

Sessions are offered online or in person at The Practice Rooms in Bath, depending on your preference and availability. Please enquire regarding current openings. Fees are adjusted for virtual sessions.

Racial Trauma

We can explore the psychological and emotional effects of racism from chronic stress to internalised narratives. Therapy can support processing these experiences, reconnecting with dignity, and developing tools for resilience. 

Stress

In therapy, we can identify the sources of your stress, understand your response patterns and build sustainable ways to cope, prioritise and recover.

Childhood Trauma

We can work on developing a felt sense of safety, processing unresolved memories and shifting survival responses that no longer serve you. 

Identity Challenges

If you are questioning aspects of your identity or sense of self, therapy can help you clarify values, untangle external pressures and support a more grounded understanding of who you are and how you want to live.

Attachment

We can work towards recognising your attachment patterns, improving relational boundaries and building secure, healthy ways of connecting.

Integrative Therapy Approach

I work as an integrative practitioner, drawing from a range of evidence-based psychological theories to inform my practice. This allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Our psychodynamic therapy sessions delve into unconscious patterns and past experiences to gain insight into your present-day struggles. This in-depth exploration can lead to profound self-discovery and transformation. Best suited for long term work.

Relational Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Through relational CBT, we focus on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. This approach can help you develop healthier patterns of thinking and improve your overall mental well-being. CBT is particularly useful for approaching a specific challenge such as behaviours or negative thought patterns that you'd like to work on in a practical way.

Systemic

Therapy

Systemic therapy takes into account the interconnectedness of individuals within their relationships and broader systems. By addressing family dynamics and social influences, systemic therapy aims to foster positive change and harmony.
